What I wore to my sister’s proposal

what I wore to my sister's proposal

Over the moon for my sister and future brother in law! If you guys have been following me for a while, you know how involved my sister Nagam was with my proposal 4 years ago. Watch her vlog of my proposal right here.

When her fiancé reached out to me regarding the proposal, I made sure to be there even though I was in the middle of my move to Florida. As the eldest sibling seeing both my sisters get engaged the past 3 months brings me so much joy. I’ve always been so motherly to them, sometimes they even complained about it, but it was all coming from a good place. Now  that they both found incredible men to continue their life with, it brings me so much happiness and makes me proud of them and the choices they have made in picking their life partner. Anyways, enough emotions, let’s talk outfits.

Since the proposal was going to include red roses and I knew my sister was going to be in a black dress, I wanted to stick to wearing something red. Something about black and red together screams romance to me.

I found this Norma Kamali wide leg pants and off the shoulder top on Revolve. Although they are not a set, they looked perfect together! It almost looks like I was in a jumpsuit. I kept my makeup light and went for my classic makeup look paired with my Gucci lipstick in shade painted veil. It’s a very natural neutral and a perfect shade for fall.

Shop my look:

My mom found me these PVC Jessica Rich heels from Nordstrom and they matched my outfit so perfectly. Only negative thing I have to say about my outfit is that the pants were way too long. In general, every norma kamali piece I own, I had to get altered because they do run long. They are however, SO flattering on especially if you want to show off your curves.
